I would like to comment on the services rendered by yourmovingday.com and the moving agent Walsh Moving & Storage as set up by my contact Mike Martin. The move itself was difficult from every standpoint. I was moving out of the home occupied by my family for over 40 years and in that time we had gathered endless amounts of furnishings and various items. I had several in home estimates that came in at roughly between 21,000 and 28,000 lbs. estimated weight and prices ranging from $10,000 (unthinkable) to over $30,000 for doing our move. We chose them based on not only the pricing estimated at under $20,000 but their reputation and ratings on this website and a few other websites and the knowledge that mike passed on to both myself and my wife during the weeks of research and bids. Thomas from Walsh contacted us 5 days prior to the move to go over some details and told us at that point that the crew would arrive on Friday morning to begin the process (packing and prep) and they did show up at 8 am Friday morning and were a bunch of polite and professional gentlemen. They began packing and loading and did a truly wonderful job for us and we greatly appreciate them. We were told to expect delivery within 5 days and 5 days later they showed up and the same crew did the same incredible job for us. We also moved 3 cars through yourmovingday and had the same great service and would like to thank Cory for his help on the car end. So once again, thank you for all of your help,time and patience for making our move a really pleasant experience and other folks will be recommended by us.
