I used the internet to get quotes for our move from Oklhoma to Pa. Suzanne assured went over a list of our belongings and gave us a quote of $2900 approx.
We were given a window of 2 day for the pick up. 10 mins before the deadline, wwv called us to say the truck was broke down and they would send some one the next evening. They sent some one from Florida Southwest vanlines, and he quickly informed us that nothing on our contract with wwv was good anymore. He insisted we resign his contract and said he would leave if we didnt. We had a window to get to Pa. so we had no other option because of the other truck not ever getting there. I personally had to help load the truck or the workers would not have finished in 1 day. The driver did nothing but inventory and could not spell any english word. He left my house and went to the scales and quickly informed me that my new bill would be $9800 and without half of that sent to his company overnight check, he would not even start to deliver our goods. Now he had our stuff on his truck locked so we had no choice but to sign. It took 9 days to get to our house after wwv's dispatcher said 3 days. Once he got there, he hired labor force people to unload. They broke our dryer's timer and tore the 3 day old vinyl in the kitchen. The driver informed me that he would not go up the stairs with our stuff, so they put every thing except for a couple of items in the living room and the front porch and front yard and left. The screws from our dresser's mirror are still missing.
The most horrible experience we have ever had. Please never use wwv or the florida southwest van lines. If you do, remember this, I told you ahead of time.
