My move was and still is a NIGHTMARE with this "company" if that is what you want to call them. They are not only brokers that say the "have their own trucks" and lie only to get your $500.00 deposit, they give you a sugar coated low estimate to rel you in (the way they reeled us in) but then after they take your money, communication is literally non-existent and consists of when you finally do get a live person on the phone, they place you on hold and in some instances wiuth us for at least 10 minutes and then pick up the phone and hang up on you...yes hung up on us at least 5 times. Emails ar not returned and finally you get Daryl the "office managr" on the phone and he gives you more bullshit to the extgent of "the truck broke down, the drivers other move was overweight therefore he can't fit you, we're working on it etc.....Finally 5 days after our initial pick-up date a filthy old moving van that was at least 15 years old showed up without any notice and the 2 men were horrible and said "we didn't weigh the truck before the move because its a minimum pick up" what the hell?? We were told they weigh us before the pick-up and after the pick up to determine our weight. Anyway, the men BARELY spoke English and when you could make a word out it had to do with paying them up front a portion which we were told was not due until they deliver. They kept telling us the whole time how bad a company World Wid Van Lines was and how their moves hardly even covered fuel!!! They loaded our belongings after bitching for an hour about how crappy a company we had chosen and at this point we were very nervous. No calls were returned from the office so what choice did we have but to be nice to these guys, feed them, tip them and generally pray our items would arrive to California. Needless to say, we called and called the driver since he gave us his number and we called for 3 days and finally he answered and said he had to wait until he had more moves before he headed to California and it may b anothr 2 weeks. He never told us the price and kept saying I don't know the price yet. We kept calling daily for updatyes and everytime he actually picked up he would say the same thing...I call when I get to California and nver told us a price. On the 19th friggin day what do you know but he calls us at 11PM and said to us....I am deliver tomorrow at 8AM and the total is $4,500.00 cash only, and if you don't have cash tell m know and I put it in storage and not waste my time. I have to say that this is truly a nightmare move that we read about but obviously didn't heed the warning enough. Our quote was for a total of $1,900.00 and we paid a $500.00 deposit and was supposed to owe $1,400.00 We have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau only to find out they used to have a mailing address inj Lewes, Delaware which was kicked off of the Better Business Bureau and they simply changed states to Florida and now they are squeaky clean. Look it up fro yourselves, same office manager...Daryl Lawson and just different offices and now they have ZERO complaints and an A rating...this is th worlds worst company so I suggest before using them....rent a U-haul or Budget truck....get a real company and dont get scrwed by these con artists.
