Stay away from world wide van lines or golden hand movers or movers usa.
They are big time scam artists and they always excel in ripping you off. I made a huge mistake to save some money and chose them. PLEASE DONT DO THAT.
I was given a quote of 990 for a move from denver to charlotte.
The job was assigned to golden hand moving company [which is no more and its renamed as mover usa]. Roni [manager from movers usa] charged me 2048 which is more than twice of what was agreed upon and was literally threatening to leave. I didnt have an option and had to go with his price. World wide van lines didnt help me sort this out and after I agreed to pay that amount they told me that the issue is between me and golden hand/ movers usa.
I was told that the items will be delivered in 4 to 7 days and it took 4 weeks to be delivered. They were rude, mean and obnoxious. The moment I paid the advance amount, they treated me as if I owed them money. Their response is such that , he will hang up the phone and I have to watch my tone while talking to him because my things are out in his truck for days and who in the blue hell knows he might even burn them off. My wife and I slept on the floor and ate of paper plates [ it was job transfer and i had very less money]
Finally they did arrive. The Joke is he doesnt even know how to drive the truck [I was told by his assistant when they were delivering my items]. He broke the gates in my apartment [thank god nothing big happened].
So stay away from these scammers. You are better off paying a bit more with any other company and be at peace till all your items are delivered on time.
