We are happy to have found a forum where we can let people know to stay away from worldwide van lines and their terrible business practices. Based out of florida and delaware operating a scam company that takes the hard earned money from unsuspecting customers only to leave them sitting in a house after they have turned off their power, utilities and have everything packed up waiting for some sort of phone call to let them know when and IF a truck was ever going to show up to pick up their items. Promises not upheld and they should be ashamed of themselves. We were strung along for almost 2 weeks hearing excuses ranging from the truck broke down to the last customer filled up the truck only to find out that there never was a truck. We finally had to cancel and book a move with another company for nearly double the amount since we were so desperate to move out of our apartment since we were having to pay rent and then finally stay in a hotel and pay hotel fees and food expenses. All we can tell everybody is please please please do your homework on these companies. we fell for the lowest price literally and never got picked up and never even got a courtesy call only when we called 90 times did we hear a voice. just wish we had found this website before falling prey to these scavengers. RESEARCH and chose a reputable moving company and never make the same mistake we did by chosing a company based on a low decieving price or you will pay much more in the end.
