In brief, we contracted this company for our move from Minnesota to Texas and booked the move on october 5th more than 5 weeks before the move. The price was the cheapest by far at $1,800.00 while most companies were well above $2,500.00 or so but trying to save money we opted to take the cheap route (BIG MISTAKE) First of all once the initial deposit was paid, they never called us back or returned emails (5 emails and probably 10 phone calls went unreturned) and when the actual supposed moving date came november 11th we still received no communication. Finally the movers called 2 days late and speaking broken english said very rudely, "we just got job we pick you up tomorrow" which was going to be 3 days later than we signed on for. When they did show up they were filthy, drove a beat up penske truck that was also filthy and didn't even have any documentation for us to fill out. They stated that worldwide van lines was probably the worst company they work for by far and were literally pushed into moving us and that every move they do for worldwide van lines is a joke being either underbid, underpriced and they promise everyone the world and don't charge for it. After the men loaded up the truck with our stuff they said, it looks like your move is going to be much more than the estimate but worldwide van lines will call you with the price and literally drove off laughing like you would see in the movies. several days and many phone calls went by with no word from anyone including the drivers and finally after our 50th try we got an answer and they told us, "we have no idea when the movers will arrive and we don't know the balance yet but we will get that for you and call you back. REALLY????? Finally the next day the driver called and said "you were overweight and owe an additional $1100.00 for the extra weight and said it could only be in cash and when I asked if they could accept a credit card they said no cash only and if we didn't have the cash they would have to put it into storage and charge another $600.00 for a redelivery fee when I was to be delivered from storage. Please, whatever you do, do not use this company ever!!!! Their better business bureau looks really clean with an a rating but when you really look at this company you'll see they were originally incorporated in delaware and have been revoked from there. I have no idea what I was thinking with the lowest quote and was also warned by several companies to stay away from them. Now we are out almost $3,000 with many damages and countless memories that are destroyed due to their lack of compassion and communiation.
