Agent refused to do on-site survey

After and invitation for bids from listed interstate movers on movers411.com, i was contacted by Jeff Maness of USVanLines and requested an on-site survey. I am surprised that a company that promotes itself as a national mover would not have at least an agent or respresentative in a capital city such as Austin, Texas. The following is a copy of the email that he responded with when i asked if an agent could come do an on-site survey:
'no...they dont bring scales to your home! They use the same software i do.
