I was very impressed with United National Moving and Storage. I can admit I am not an easy person to please but they handled me well. I have a true New Yorker attitude! I have resided in GA the last 2 years due to my job and now I am back in my hometown of NY. Growing up in NY I know all the prices for everything so with this move I was very specific (example: who pays tolls me or you: my street is narrow and its a building what extra charges would that be etc.). But these guys answered all my questions and I paid exactly what they quoted not a penny more or less.
Phyllis dealt with me a lot since she is the customer service manager and I had a ton of concerns. My things mean everything to me becase they have a sentimental value, and i was afraid that the movers would not treat my things with care at all. She told me once they are there tell them EXACTLY how you want it done because they are there to help not stress you out. And man was she right. THEY WERE AMAZING! Very polite, funny and hardworking guys they were. They were so careful with my things I was shocked. My glass table was carefully dismantled and wrapped beautifully. My china cabinet broke down into 12 different pieces and they spent about 30 mins just making sure that it was done right because my china cabinet has been in my family for as long as I can remember and if anything happened to it I would have freaked out, As soon as they left GA to head to NY I was not worried about my things because I saw how they cared for them.
My drop off was just as great as pick up. They placed my things where I wanted them and helped me put everything back together. Wonderful wonderful guys! I am absolutely moving with them if I ever leave NY again
