Received 3 estimates. All were from Major Van lines, People, Here is a bit of advice I learned through this process. Companies without extensions usually are Brokerage firms, a company with the words "RELOCATION" as part of the name is a broker company IE: Nationwide Relocation Services, Quality Relocation Services. A quote that has a -binding estimate fee- (Brokers Commission).
I received quotes from Mayflower, United National and Bekins. (All Major Movers)
I have used Bekins before and they did a good job but their estimate was way out of our budget, Mayflower has cheaper then United but could not meet me pickup/delivery request.
I spoke with United and their price was right in the middle, They met my pickup request and had a delivery window that I could work with.
I was a bit nervous because we had just had a baby 3 weeks ago and being in a house with a newborn with nothing was something I just could not do.
United picked up on time and I received everything this very morning, we are finally set in, have boxes everywhere and my wife and I were talking and discussing how GREAT the move went. I jumped online and simply had to write this review. go.
United National is a great moving company, communication was great, price was reasonable and service impeccable.
Do yourself a favor and contact them for a quote, then make a decision.
United National is the way to go
