Terrible Experience

I hired TLC movers, and was extremely dissatisfied with both their services, and their response to my complaints. My delivery arrived almost a week late despite the fact that I was reassured numerous times that it would arrive within a max. of 10 business days. When my things finally arrived after 10pm at night, after being told my things would be there at 7am, I asked the movers to return the following morning because it was so late. The refused, and said that if I didn't accept the delivery I wouldn't get my things for at least another 2 wks. They made no attempt to keep things quite despite my asking them to. As a result, my neighbors called the police.
My move was contracted out to another company without my knowledge or consent. My items had significant damage to them, and many boxes were crushed and/or torn open. The movers seemed very inexperienced, stacking things right by the front door, and then looking at me for answers when there wasn't room to get big items in the door (my place is plenty big, so space to put things was not the issue). They were very destructive despite my numerous requests for them to be careful. One looked at me and smirked as he dropped my steel bed on my newly refinished wood floors, right after I had asked him to please set it down carefully. There was damages to both the floor and the walls of my brand new condo.
The owner of the organization has been uncooperative in answering questions about their arbitration process, and has even threatened to sue me for posting negative reviews about my experience.
I would highly suggest avoiding this company; they have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I generally expect some damage or frustration with moves, but this far exceeded anything I could have imagined.
