I needed a fast relocation for my job. Put the request on the internet, Bombarded in 2 hours with 15 calls. The fellow from Prudential stood out on my messages, so I called him back. He took a detailed inventory, discussed who's responsibility was who's for packing and fragile item preparation, gave me a discounted price on the packing I wanted movers to do. I picked 10/10 as a move date, the guys showed up right in the time frame Peter told me. They never once grumbled, even though I am on the 3rd floor, no elevator! They went the extra mile doing a few things they told me they normally charge for but will do for me as good will. They said I should see delivery within 3 to 7 days, On the 12th, their dispatcher called me to let me know they were loading "today" and that I was their 1st delivery and should see the driver on the 14th or 15th. On the evening of the 13th, the driver called me to say he will be in in mid afternoon the next day, the 14th and would that be ok with me. Yes, Yes of course! Then about 2 hours before, about 1pm, the driver called again to verify I will be at home ready to accept it. This is what I call good communications skills and customer service. I should know, because I work as a regional customer service manager for a Fortune 500 company. No damage, I was glad I paid to have my $3500 Plasma tv packed by them, because it worked perfect when I hooked it up. Everything they took apart was re-assembled, Everything was moved till I was happy as to where I wanted it. The price went up about $75 compared to the estimate, but I added things at the last minute. The could have taken advantage and charged me sky high for the extra items, but they stuck to what they said in that they stick to thier original rates. I cannot stress how stressed I was as my employer has sprung 4 moves on me with less than a month notice each time. 2 previous were ok, but nothing out of the ordinary, another was an outright crook. But this went so easy, so smotth, so lack of stress, that I had to find someplace to write down about this company and tell the public about it. Gratefully Your, Pauly M
