Referred by Budget Van Lines. First, they arrived and after a walk thru wanted to upcharge a few hundred dollars. I think it would've been more if we hadn't let them know we were prepared to cancel them and make other arrangements. My house was a five bedroom..they brought a small truck which they packed to the hilt and still had to come back the next day. Then they took my stuff to a warehouse in Chicago. About two weeks later, they called and said it would be in AZ in 24 hrs. They arrived and alot of my stuff went to storage but a desk was cracked and my bikes were damaged. Every time I go to the storage unit, I find more broken items...its so depressing. These companies through our stuff around, charge us top dollar, and there is no real recourse. I contacted them several times regarding a claim but no answer, no phone call back.
The only positive things I can say is the movers were nice, they tried to wrap the stuff well. The truck driver was on time, and he got the truck into a pretty confined space. Its a shame they are associated with this bull crap company.
