Run do NOT walk to do business with San Diego Van and Storage Company.
Deal with Mary Wait for she will give you a fair quote and email, follow up, call or what ever is necessary to make you feel at ease.
Recently, I had dealt with a move from NJ to LA with First Amercan Van Lines. It was a nightmare. First American Van Lines had 1st loaded the truck then demanded more money of "overage" chargers, were insultive, intimadating, demanded a large tip, demanded a positive review and damaged the furnature in transit. I was braced for the worst when I needed to move my daughter crosscountry.
The truck moved the furnature out and did stand there demanding a tip, no cursing, no hostility toward each other and contempt for the belongings that were shipped.
The furnature was stored by the MAYFLOWER agent in NYC. The company called Dahill have three great movers named Jay, Cleaver and Alex. They came out in a snow storm on New Years Eve. They were polite and unlike the other recent mover did not dump the furnature not do an inventory and exchange heated curse words back and forth at each other as they were doing the favor of doing thier jobs. MAYFLOWER TRANSIT is the way to go. If it cost a little more so what is complete piece of mind and no aggrivation.
