My move date was scheduled for 9/2/08 at 9AM. High Touch was called approximately at 10AM on 9/2/08. My husband was informed that they had another move in Queens and that they would try to get to me at 12PM. Representative Ben tried to convince me that someone spoke to me the previous Saturday to change the time. This of course was untrue because I had already relocated to Virginia and my husband stayed back to deal with the movers. The move had to be rescheduled because my complex only allowed a moving permit up until 4PM and the movers failed to get there by 12PM. On 9/3/08 the movers came without the tools to take apart the treadmill that they were aware of therefore my 2100.00 treadmill was left in the coop because it couldnt get past the door frame. I was told that the delivery time would be between 3-7 days. I received my things on 9/5/08(Great) no. Upon unpacking it came to the movers attention while attempting to put my platform bed together that the bed was pulled apart rather than unscrewed therefore all of the wholes on one side of the platform was stripped. My BowFlex dial up weight system, a rack to hold the weight and the dumbbell (52.5 pound dial -up) were missing. After numerous request and a BBB report I finally got the weights(six platesbroken) and still a missing rack (till this day)to hold the weight on 10/27/08. Filed a complaint with Anthem insurance company max. reimbursement 120.00. My bed was ruined, broken weight system still without the rack, no treadmill and offered 120.00. Outrageous
