Greenpoint Vanlines had a crew come out and pack up everything our house and they were very polite. The foreman Dennis was very well mannered and made sure his crew did what was asked of them. We had a few glass items that needed extra protection and they did a great job at making sure those items were well wrapped. We also had wooden floors and at first I think they would have not put blankets down until I asked them to, so that the floors would be protected. We had a three bedroom home with a fair amount of furniture and odds and ends to be packed and they finished in a day. It was definitely a relief for us to not have to do it since we worked up to the day before the packing and move practically. Kelly told us it could take any time from 4 to 14 days to get our things depending on when they had a truck going to the northeast and we received our things within a week, three days after we arrived in Darien. We were surprised. The driver that delivered our things to us was very polite and I tipped him also and our furniture was in good condition when we received it. It was a good move and if we were to move again, I would call Greenpoint for my move.
