In short, the customer service (phone) in obtaining an estimate and getting service was outstanding. Mike was extremely responsive and helpful in answering my numerous questions. The process and expectations were very clear during these processes.
Unfortunately, the move itslef was not as smooth. First, let me saw that the moving crew only minimally damaged any possessions during the move. That aspect was satisfactory. They were, however, very unprofessional. My crew took an extremely long time to load up the truck, largely due to numerous smoking, telephone and texting breaks. When complete, they drove the truck full of goods ~100 miles out of the way for personal "appointments". As a residual effect, they did not show up to unload the truck at my destination until 6:30 pm the following day and did not finish unloading (with my help) until after 10:30 pm. Many of the boxes were still in incorrect rooms, despite clear labels indicating proper locations.
After they were done, the leader said, "So, dinner's on you, right?" which left one last, bad taste in my mouth. As it later turned out, the carpet stains and wall scuffs caused on the originating address required over $100 worth of floor cleaning and wall paint touch-up work.
Summary: The home office was wonderful; the dispatched moving crew was not. The only good thing that can be said about the crew is that they did a good job not damaging the furniture and items.
