First the movers called at about 6 pm to inform me they were running behind and would not be at my house till 11 pm. They finally showed up about 11:20 pm, and did not complete loading the truck till approximately 3:30 am. I had to be at the airport at 5:30 am, so needless to say, I didnt sleep. Also, the gentleman made me empty my dressers and box the items. My parents used movers once before and didn't have to empty the dressers and nowhere in the preparation information did it note that you had to unload your dressers. I also mentioned in one of our conversations that I was leaving that and I was not advised differently.
I was then informed that our moving cost would now be about $2,200, from the agreed price of $1,395.37. This is $805 over the original quote. Then I was in touch with Drew regarding the shipment of my belongings he told me it was on the truck and would be there as scheduled. The day my things we're supposed to arrive I was told that in fact my things were NEVER loaded on to the truck and it was still sitting in the warehouse. My things did not arrive until a WEEK later. When they did arrive, I realized They stole my 47" flat screen t.v. They almost gave me someone else's surround sound. My dresser was also damaged due to poor handling.
Drew was quick to inform me to file my claim with their insurance department "in case they didn't find my t.v." When I put my claim in through their insurance department they settled $26.02 for a t.v. that cost me $800.00 that is most likely sitting nicely in the drivers home. THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!
Not to mention their rating with the BBB says it all... "F"!!!! Don't make the same mistake I did. Do your research before using any moving company. Espeically this one
