ABSOLUTE CROOKS, DO NOT TRUST THEM!

We spoke to David regarding our two-bedroom move and we both agreed it should take around 3 hours. He explained they had a 3 hour minimum, which we agreed on at $79/hr. for 3 movers. He also told us that there were no gimmicks or surprises or add-ons whatsoever with the flat rate he quoted. He went on to say that the bubble wrap, tape and blankets were all included. Not only did he verbally tell us this by phone on three separate occasions (since we were shopping prices) but he also sent it to me exactly as stated by e-mail and left a voice mail message on our voicemail stating the same. The driver showed up an hour late, at which time they literally ripped our plasma TV off the wall, breaking the brackets and the nuts and bolts flew across the living room in front of my entire family. Then they continued to chip and scratch our dining table, coffee table, and our entire master bedroom set, as they dragged it out the door, banging the walls and stairs along the way. They had absolutely no idea what they were doing, and obviously hired their two helpers off the street being that they didn’t speak a word of English and did not blanket a single item. I had tried over and over again to get them to stop breaking our belongings, but communication was close to impossible.
The whole ordeal took 2 hours and was a complete nightmare with most of our belongings thrashed. When they got to our new location 15 minutes away to unload the truck, he demanded a credit card before they would unload. We told them we were paying cash, as was agreed with David at their home office. They said it was just for security to make sure after they unloaded that the funds would be available but that nothing would be charged. The whole move took 3 hours and 15 minutes and should’ve been under $300 total. When I went to pay the driver cash, he told me my credit card had already been charged and to take it up with David at their home office. I asked him for a receipt of what was charged and he said he would get me one from the truck. As my entire family sat their waiting in our living room surrounded by our damaged belongings, we heard the truck scream out the driveway. I raced outside only to see the truck driving down the street. We all knew at that time that we had just been scammed and immediately called the bank, only to find out that our credit card had been charged over $1,500, on top of the $100 deposit that was given to them two weeks prior! When we called David at the home office to discuss this, he basically laughed and then yelled at us and told us to call his claims department on Monday morning. We were forced to file a police report as well as a fraud claim at our bank. We are currently filing a civil lawsuit against this company. Please be aware that Always 4 U Moving and Storage are total thieves and blatantly lie and steal from you right to your face and in my case in front of my entire family as well! Not to mention they nearly destroyed most of our belongings in the process.
