I don't usually post a lot of reviews, but that is how I choose Xpress Movers and would like to share my thoughts with others about my recent experience with them. I choose them, based on searches thru Google and Bing, and despite the few not so good reviews I read here on Yelp I decided to give them a try, since I wasn't moving much stuff. It all started with calling them up and obtained a quote for my move from New York to Burlington last month. The initial phone conversations with Gary were productive and my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Everything was explained in details, so I'm aware of all the costs, which may occur during the process. The given price was flat rate, not to exceed as I was explained, which was something I heard for the first time based on my other 3 quotes I got. They packed my 1bedroom in less than 2hours with care from 2 movers and brought down the elevator in another 45mins. Delivery was scheduled for the next day as I was staying with friends in New York. Next day comes in and I get a call from the driver that picked up my stuff and told me to be ready in a couple of hours for delivery, which was fine with me. Delivery took less than an hour to complete with no damages on the walls or the furniture. I was very pleased with the attention I received from the salesman and the movers and Gary in the office and from Ross on my 2 day move.
Although it wasn't a big move and my doubts of the service I could receive, I was happy with their service and the price paid for it, so I give them 5 stars. All questions were answered, no problems before, during or after the move and communication was fine. I'm hoping not to move anytime soon, but if I do, they'll be on the list to call for quotes.
