I have heard horrible stories about moving companies, and I had to take my time, before I chose a moving company. I read so many reviews online. I limited 4 moving companies, and one of them was Xpress Movers. I spend a lot of time on the phone with Annie almost every day, but she was able to explained everything to me - the pricing, availability, how thing will be handled.
After all I decided to go with them. Few days before my pick up I got a confirmation call and a time frame.
On the move day I was so nervous when the crew arrived. One of the guys explained to me how they will proceed with the packing and the moving, but despite that I was still nervous. The 3guys who were sent were really nice and polite. They did not stop for a minute until everything was packed and loaded the truck.
In the last minute my building told me I couldn't move in if the moving company doesn't have proof of insurance. I called Annie immediately and expressed my frustration, she calmed me down by saying that it will be sent there first thing in the morning. She worked out all details with the building and that was taken care of.
The next day arrived and the guys were in touch with me and letting me know they're running a little behind due to traffic.
When they arrived in the apartment in NY I was so happy to see the truck and my belongings in it. The crew who packed and loaded my stuff was not the same, but still very nice and polite. They were careful bringing everything upstairs and placing the furniture in the rooms.
I had great experience with Xpress Movers! I would use them again, if I'm moving. I have recommended them to all my friends and I will keep recommending them.
