I don't really write reviews too often. Really only when something is so amazing I want other people to try it or so horrible I want to warn people to run for their lives. This would be the latter of the two. I recently moved from Chicago to New York City. It was supposed to be an exciting and fun time and this company made it one of the worst experiences of my life.
To start they showed up a day late for the pick up stating that their truck was broken. Which was fine, I let it go. I was just excited to get the process started. They told us to expect the stuff in 5-7 days. So at that my father and I packed up my small car with as much as I could fit and set out 4 days later so we would be there on the 5th day, the first day they could have arrived. Once we were there they told us it probably wouldn't be till Friday. Fine, I just set up my air mattress and my dad got a hotel room. This happened for the next week! Every couple days, when they would finally answer their phones, they would tell us it would be within the next few days. They kept giving us the runaround for a week. There were days we couldn't even get anyone on the phone. Let's just say after a week sleeping on an air mattress in a heat box of an apartment because my window unit was packed with the movers, I was not a happy camper. They kept claiming the truck was broken. But even if the truck broke down it shouldn't take an extra week to get my stuff there. My dad and I drove the distance in 15 hours. I wasn't shipping it to China! Then once they arrived the guys told me that it was because there wasn't any available trucks or men to move. So they lied to us. If they had just been upfront from the beginning I wouldn't have left Chicago so early and had to spend a week in an empty apartment. All in all I would give this place 0 stars if that were an option but it's not. You are warned.
