I strongly recommend using another company. (Please make sure to read the “Additional Warning” below to aid in your search for a reliable company.)
This was the WORST choice we could have made. We are still traumatized by the horrible (dis)service. Imagine the worst case scenario involving a moving company, and you will come close to what we experienced.
Only use this company if you want:
*inexperienced "movers"-- kids who did not know the simplest thing about moving items; they made their work harder and more time consuming through their ineptitude. They arrived unprepared and expected a lot of help from my husband, who has a spinal injury.
*a combative, insulting, dishonest, racist supervisor/boss who offers no solution to complaints, and actually instructs his employees to hold your property hostage on the van
*a company that tries to deny accepting payment methods listed on the contract (credit card, check) in an effort to receive all cash, and uses this ploy to keep your property locked on their truck
*a "business" interaction that requires a call to the POLICE and intervention from the LAW to enforce the contract and have personal property unloaded from the truck
* only to have your property dumped on the driveway instead of being put inside the house
*missing and broken items-- with obvious disrespect for property-- (photos trampled in the mud!)
*the longest, most stressful move ever imagined that requires more work and suffering on your part than you thought was possible.
I strongly recommend using another company. I would recommend doing what I will do next time we move: call an established interior decorator or firm and get their references for movers. They know the reliable and professional companies because they have to-- their livelihood is also hinged upon the homeowners experience.

Using different business names is a legal way that this company seeks to disassociate itself from the bad reviews under specific names.
We did call the references that Xpress Movers provided, and we heard good things. In retrospect, I believe that all of the people we spoke to were related to the company. The service was beyond horrible, and this company should not be allowed to do business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
