This company sucks. The representative lied and never kept his words. He gave us a quote based on 58 cents per pound and an estimated 3000lbs . he promised us that the final price would be based on the exact weight and never mentioned the minimum weight for billing. We paid about $752 deposit, so the balance is $ 1039.96. when mover delivered, we got the exact price of the balance, but out stull only weighed 1640 lbs (the price should be $900 something). Actually the mover is another company, not world moving services. I didn¡¯t want to pay the bill. Then the mover said you have to pay and otherwise they would auction my furniture. Later I called customer services. Surprised again. The 800 number is nationalwide moving services number. They all denied what they told me and not cooperated at all. They said they only could get $260 back (I expected more than $500 based on the quote). Two weeks later, I still didn¡¯t my check and I called again. They said they made mistake again and only can return 122 bucks back. I waited another two weeks and called again. In the end of third week, I got $122 back. Such a nightmare! And some glasses were broken. I missed some stuff. The mover said they didn¡¯t see them from the beginning. Since one of my friends supervised the pick-up, I can¡¯t prove anything anymore.
After knowing my experience, I guess you will consider these companies very carefully: World Moving service and National wide moving services.
