Subject: Horrible and costly Nightmare: Jerri Bonessi of the Chicago office purposely gave us an under weight price estimate:
Review: Jerri Bonessi is a sweet talker who purposely gave a changed weight estimate of only 8400 lbs, which was after I had signed a binding agreement for $4,278.27, and explaining that a competitor had estimated that we would have about 14,000 lbs. and the cost would be about $5,800. Jerri commented that you can't trust the estimate because it was probably given by a broker who simply was a finder of moving companies, not an actual mover.
After I signed the binding agreement, Jerri stipulated an estimated moving weight of only 8400 lbs. It was a bait and switch trick that allowed them to charge almost $4,000 more when the actual weight of our household items was claimed by White Glove Relocation Services, Inc. to be over 12,000 lbs. Besides this, they subcontracted the moving service to Able Moving, a local Chicago mover that only used 2 persons (Jerri at White Glove Relocation Services, Inc. had told us that a crew of 3 would be employed). The Able Moving truck used was substandard in size tand not one commonly utilized by other companies. These movers worked as hard as they could with only 2 men that took from 11AM on July 11, 2011 to past 2:00AM on July 12, 2011 to load their truck.. Our $400.00 family fireproof safe that I had requested to be loaded onto the truck was forgotten by the 2 men, my 2-wheel hand truck was stolen, my gasoline lawnmower was mising the throtle assembly and the wheels were all bent so that the mower is unusable now. My wife's collectible crystal iterms were stolen, dinnerware plates were broken. We were told that the movers had unloaded and reloaded our household items two times in a warehouse and that is why we had the losses and damages. Incidentally, we weren't told that our household items wouldn't be delivered to our relocation destination until late in the day after the 2 men began loading the moving truck. When we had called Jerri to complain, their call screening service made it impossible to get through to Jerri's phone line... After we used a friend's phone to make a call to Jerri's office, she answered the call. She then was surprised that it was me on the phone, and after I expressed my dissatisfaction that she would no longer take calls from our telephone number, she strongly denied that calls were being screened. It was an obvious lie, because you had to state your name on the initial call so that she would know if it was a new customer, or and existing customer. We will be filing with an attorney to prove that we were grossly cheated by Jerri Bonessi and White Glove Moving Relocation Services, Inc. of Naperville, IL, close to the Chicago area.

Response: Mr. Bonfardeci,
It sounds like you had a really terrible expierence with your move and for that I am sorry. Unfortunately sir I believe you have us mixed up with White Glove Relocation Services in Chicago(they are a copy cat company that we have had similiar run ins with). The White Glove Moving you are reviewing is in Bayonne NJ, we have no affiliates/offices in Chicago. Again I am sorry for your unfortunate expierence and you are more than welcome to call me if you would like any advice on what parties/government agencies to contact.
Good Luck,
Casper Rose

I am sorry Casper for the mistaken identity of White Glove Moving instead of the criminal company White Glove Relocation Services Inc. of Naperville, IL, nearby Chicago that dealt with us so dishonestly. I am sorry that they are piggy backing on the name of your reputable firm in a such a sneaky way by a single word title change. I will contact you for what parties/government agencies to contact.
Thank You Casper, and again I am very sorry for mistakingly making the complaint to the name of your firm instead of White Glove Relocation Services, Inc. of the Chicago area.
