I would never recommend this Chicago-based company! First of all, good luck ever getting someone on the phone. Expect to call several times/leave messages before anyone finally returns your call…days later. My experience was such a disappointment, especially since another person in my building recommended them to me. The sales rep quoted me a price that was based on the weight of my stuff, and assured me that the ONLY thing I would pay for was the final weight. Naturally, they over-quoted me just to be on the safe side.
The horror began when the day of my move, ANOTHER COMPANY showed up at my door and started talking about extra fees (Best Price Moving and Storage—also a horrible company!). I called White Glove to find out what was going on, and the sales rep assured me again that the final price was exactly what he explained to me, he also said he’d try to do something about the extra hidden fees. The dude never called me back! I called him 10 times and waited around for an hour before I gave up. Their customer service was also very rude and refused to help me out. The worst part was that the new company was charging me the original quoted price, even though my stuff obviously weighed much less than the quote!! White Glove was completely unapologetic and uncommunicative during the whole stressful process. They should have told me about selling my contract to a bunch of hacks so that I could have found another company. I would have been better off going with some random company I found on the internet!
