I want to give a bad review, but in the end I can't

White Glove Moving

We had a few problems with White Glove, but mainly because we didn't read the fine print well enough. Totally our fault. We moved across the country and really should have hired a national company that can guarantee a quicker turnaround by sending more trucks out. Our belongings arrived a week and a half after our date of arrival, which was within their window, so they did nothing wrong. However, it always seemed like no one could help us when we called to get a more specific date. We felt helpless and like we never got a real answer.
We're a military couple and my husband was deploying immediately, and I was nervous about handling all the furniture organization/setup myself. At the end of the day, they were able to put our stuff on an express truck and it got here before he left. For this I am EXTREMELY thankful. This is why for a different (more local) kind of move I would use them again! But when we called the entire week before no one ever mentioned that this was a possibility. So in the end I am thrilled it got here when my husband was here- and well within their timeline- but I feel that it was a happy accident that we got accommodated.
Our stuff arrived in fine shape, just one broken mirror. The movers on both ends were efficient and professional. So as I said, they did everything just fine and according to contract, but had I been the one to make the arrangements- my husband seemed to either not notice the 3 week window or chose to think we would get special treatment because of his deployment schedule- I would have probably chosen a company that sends out more trucks.
But here I am with furniture and I'm happy. The express van saved the day!
