Cheats & arrogant - White Glove Moving

Hello - I recently hired the services of White Glove Moving, a part of Big Canoe Relocation Services for my relocation from Atlanta, GA to Houston, TX I was very disappointed with the services provided by this company. First, their pricing was very high compared to others, but I still went ahead with them because they were showing interest in picking up my luggage as per my availability, not what their schedule "looks like" They promised that they will call at least 24 hrs prior to the pickup. But in my case, they called me at 5 PM evening saying they would come for pickup the next morning at 8 AM. And we had a dinner event that evening, so it was all the more frustrating for us because we had to do our packing all through the night. Additionally the pickup person threatned me that each hour they have to wait they will charge 75 per person extra. What arrogance !!! Their representative Frank Mayo get hyper at pretty much everything and start shouting at you for even the smallest piece of mis-understanding. Once, I told him directly that you can not shout at your customer, he said he is sorry and realized his mistake, but he was back shouting withing 5 minutes. Then he had promised to provide a refund since he quoted for 25 boxes, but we had only 12 boxes. But now after 1 month and in-spite of several phone calls that refund has yet to come. Moreover, he was trying to prove that he will adjust the cost of those 12 boxes with couple of extra items we had not quoted, which were a table top, and an iron box. I tried to convince him that table top is part of the dining table, but he was constantly arguing and talked really rude. And one needs to be really crazy to equate the iron box with the big moving supplies box that was quoted. How can someone in the customer service industry be so rude ? THen i complained that I am going to write a very bad review of this company, so the director of the company called in 20 mins, and promised me to refund $50 for the trouble and mis-calculation. Its not 20 days since that call, and where is my refund only GOD knows. Overall, I did not have a good experience with this company and would not refer this to others. Thanks Tushar
