We didn't want to deal with moving all the larger furniture items, so we gave Viking moving a call for the 15-mile move. They set-up a visual inspection for a few days later. The estimator Sal showed up on-time, we walked through the apartment discussing which items would and would not be moved which took about 15-minutes for my 2-bed/2-bath unit. He gave me an estimate of $495, based on a 5.5 hour move. The price was on par with what I had expected and had been told by others doing a similar move. Come moving day the movers arrived on-time and were very efficient, packing the truck, transporting and unloading done in just over 5.5 hours with the pricing coming just over the estimate at $515. I was very pleased with the communication and effectiveness of this company and would be happy to do business again with them for a local or long-distance move.
