I needed to move from San Diego to Colorado Springs to begin a new job. As it is not the most usual travel route from CA across country, it took a few extra days to have my items loaded onto the BIG truck, BUT Valet Movers pick-up drivers were able to come out as soon as I needed them to (I booked the move less than 1 week prior to my move date).
While Valet was not the lowest cost mover, they were very competitive and very honest about all of their charges up front. They were also very courteous in calling to provide a time for pick up, and then calling to update the pick up time as needed BEFORE it got to that time so that I was not "sitting around waiting." The quote was right on except that I chose to use a credit card which added a small fee to the initial charge. They even packed my 47" television for me at the negotiated charge.
On delivery, there was one slight question about the remaining balance, however it was resolved very promptly (yes, even on a Sunday) by a quick call to the office, and everything was resolved within 30 minutes. The delivery drivers were quick and thorough in putting together my furniture, and double checking to make sure every item had been delivered in accordance with the inventory and we went over the inventory together to make sure that everything was in place. There was one scratch to a bedrail, but not in a visible place, and other than that ALL of my fragile items and packages arrived in the same condition that they left San Diego in, which was a huge relief.
Overall, my experience with this company was great and I would recommend them for a long-distance move.
