RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY from this company as fast as you can!! My family and I have moved several times throughout my career and you can take EVERYTHING that happened to our belongings in all of the moves and they don’t even REMOTELY compare to the COMPLETE DESTRUCTION of our items we experienced with USA Relocation. We had to hire an appraiser to estimate the damage costs and it came to over $31,500!!! We purchased extra insurance through Baker International Insurance(which is advertised through USA Relocation) and after all, they paid us $5,600 (as it is their choice to pay the estimated REPAIR costs…which are a joke!!)
The driver showed up with day laborers from a spot up the road from our house (believe me I saw them every day waiting to be picked up near our home), they could not speak English and were CLUELESS when it came to packing and loading. We found half eaten boxes of Domino’s chicken wings packed in our belongings and because of that had an incredible amount of RODENT droppings in our boxes!! My wife and I HATE Domino’s!! We are still missing MANY, MANY items that I was told “just have to be there”…awards and family items that are a once in a lifetime thing….we are STILL finding things that never showed up!! DO NOT believe a WORD about their “Climate Controlled” storage…we had COUNTLESS items MELTED due to being stored in high heat…not to mention the rodent droppings and damage as well as clear evidence that some of our belongings were ACTUALLY used…while “in storge.”
The driver showed up at our new home once again with day laborers who promptly dropped one of our televisions which of course BROKE and bounced and punched a softball sized hole through the wall of our NEW HOME!! The driver could not keep the truck on the driveway and therefore caused over $1,000 worth of damage to our lawn!!...oh yes, Baker International Insurance does not cover that!!
PLEASE do yourself a favor and RUN to a different company or I can only speculate that you will be as sorry as or worse than my wife and I are. This company SUCKS!!!
