May be OK for a short distance move, but if you are moving accross several states: BE AWARE THAT YOU MAY NOT GET YOUR ITEMS FOR UP TO 10 DAYS! We were not told this until the items didn't show up on the projected delivery date! When called, the company said we were told this - BUT WE WERE NOT!
Hired this company to move my son from Florida to Indiania & went with their binding estimate based on visual assessment which was 25 -40% more than several other estimates based on a provide move list without visual inspection & subject to change if items were heavier/bulkier than estimated. Problem we had was with the delivery. In talking with them you give a desired loading/pick-up date & delivery date (in our case pick-up between 6/19-21 with first available delivery 6/25). Final agreed pick-up was 6/14 with 6/25 delivery. Packing/loading went OK & on time except movers loaded several boxes clearly marked "Fragile" (packed by us) on the bottom, Some of these got somewhat crushed, but items fortunately were OK when un-packed because they were well cushioned. Move damage was minimal with tear in back of a chair & one other item broken.
We were led to believe the items would arrive on 6/25 or 26th. NOWHERE in the original document that is all one sees before making the deposit and move commitment does it state that the movers HAVE UP TO 10 DAYS AFTER THE REQUESTED DELIVERY DATE TO DELIVER YOUR STUFF! However, when the movers show up, the contract that gets signed has this buried deep in the fine print. DUE TO THE MOVERS PLANNING, ITEMS WERE NOT DELIVERED UNTIL 8 DAYS LATER. So according to the contract fine print - they delivered "ON-TIME" Righhhhht! If we had been told this could happen, he could/would have packed/ planned a bit differently.
