I tried to use this company to move from TN to WA (June 27-28, 2010).
Negative points:
1- Estimation was done over the phone (not an accurate estimation).
2- They charge a deposit in advance (so you have no control).
3- After you pay, It is hard to talk to your representative. It is IMPOSSIBLE to do so when you are in trouble and need help(I think they can recognize your phone number). I have very bad experience with Marsha Smith (one of the customer service). After I was called to be notified that there is no carrier available to do my job, I called her more than 10 times to help me but she never answered my calls or called back.
4- Before you pay, hundreds of promises. None of them was done afterward.
5- I was notified two days before the due date that there was no carrier available to do the job. The funny thing, I asked to cancel the job so I can find somebody else. You can't cancel except by a notice in written and certified mail at least 5 business days in advance.
6- Moreover, it is impossible to talk to the cancellation department before 48 hours where they will call back. You can leave voice mail as much as you want as It is free service.
In summary, I ended up using another company, I paid $2000 extra and I have to stay in the hotel for extra 5 days (another $1000) away from the stress for 2 days.
Be smart and learn from others mistakes.
