I am writing this review in hopes that someone else can be saved the stress during a move that I went through with this company.
This company, in my experience, has terrible communication and no complaint management.
I was given a bid for a 2 bedroom apartment that, come to find out, was extremely low. It did not come close to enough cubic square footage to cover a small 2 bedroom apartment ( and I was told this the day before the movers came).
I was told, in writing by the rep, Jason, that my estimate was binding and my price would not change, and I was warned against other moving companies who would "bait and switch" me with incorrect estimates. Ironic as I was charged $900 more upon loading. I understand that movers charge by the cubic square foot. This company does not offer accurate estimates, and they don't even ask you for an inventory list till the day or 2 days before the move, when they then tell you it will cost much more. I had a small 2 bedroom apt. with a modest amount of stuff.
I called and emailed my rep after the truck had taken our possessions ( after a fiasco about which day they were coming waiting all of Saturday for them, finally to have the truck come the next day over 3 hours outside of the time window) to let him know I was not happy with the misleading estimate and the assurance that I was "all set" and "this is the way to go if you are on a budget". He did not answer my calls or emails. In fact, he was extremely difficult to contact after my contract was signed.
I ended up getting a call back after calling the reservations number. I told them why I was upset, and Andrew said (it feels like this company is comprised of 3 people) they could either take all of my possessions back to my previous apartment and dump it there, or they offered to, after speaking to the owner, to pack the truck with some of my possessions and then to leave the rest in Seattle, if I didn't want to pay the $900. They were rude, unprofessional and hot-tempered.
Don't use this company. Moving is stressful enough. Make sure your movers have a complaint department and make sure they don't bait and switch you with a completely, inaccurate estimate. Also, make sure there is someone who will respond to your emails or calls.
