I have now moved 3 times. Not by choice. The first 2 times my moves have been funded by my employer, this last time it was out of my pocket.
Both times the moves were a disaster, I do not know how the moves were coordinated but I do remember everything went wrong. My items took weeks for delivery. My family and I had to stay in a hotel room the entire time (thankfully also paid for by the company).
This time we were having to pay for the move and let me tell you guys, I am writing this review because I did my research and thankfully because of my due diligence and thoroughness my move went perfect.
I used a local company in Washington, I got several quotes from companies all over the place, most were brokers. I was a mortgage broker too so I didnt completely eliminate them out of the equation, I listen and appreciated what they had to say and I learned quite a bit which also helped me on what seemed like a voyage.
Everything really came down to reputation, reviews from other customers and my overall feel for the person who was providing me with the quote. He was professional from the beginning and eager to assist us on what to me was a very important decision, at one point I didnt think we would be able to use United West and he still did research on a suitable company to use besides his.
A lot of factors pushed me to use United and I am glad I did, I received my items yesterday and I must say that everything was neatly packed, there were NO hidden costs associated with my move AND I received my items within the time frame promised.
I am posting this review so others who are also on the same quest I was on which seems a bit challenging at first, I am doing this to help you by recommending United West as an excellent moving company..
United West Rocks!
