VERY POOR experience. Used them for a move to Maui from Seattle in April 2013. Chose them based on reviews here and at the USDOT website in early 2013 (very few complaints at the time). I was comparing them to another mover and to renting my own container. They based their original quote on what the other mover (who sent a representative) quoted. They did not send a rep. Both quotes were way above the cost of renting a 40 foot container and using two local (Seattle / Maui) movers. Their sales person was very persistent calling me 3-4 times per week. She finally reduced her price to be close to renting the container. Good enough. We also were going to need to store our stuff for about 4-8 weeks. That price was also fair. The only good thing was the crew showed up on the day scheduled (albeit several hours late). The bad news was everything else. The crew showed up with incorrect paperwork (an older, more costly quote) and our stuff needed more space than the quote was based on - so the cost went up. The crew worked well and packed carefully. All was well (I thought) until our stuff was to be delivered. I gave them 6 weeks notice. When I called the week before delivery was scheduled I was told it had not shipped yet. Delivery took 4 more weeks and not all our stuff was delivered. Because delivery was not complete the crew (who did not bring tools and asked to use mine) did not assemble any furniture and took off with the inventory check list. The second delivery was a month later. In the meanwhile they overcharged for the storage time. At the second delivery the crew "forgot" the inventory check list. We knew we were still missing a few things. After numerous requests the check list was emailed. We determined we were missing 8 boxes. Numerous requests to trace and deliver were not answered. They also damaged several items. Request for compensation ($1300 documented) were denied. I then filed a claim per their website. A follow up check of the USDOT site showed many more complaints during 2013 and early 2014. On the 119th day (of 120 allowed) the claim was denied because I did not provide the original inventory check list (I did print and send the email copy). My request for arbitration has also been ignored. I have just filed a complaint with the USDOT but do not expect anything. My hope is I discourage at least two or three folks from using them. They may be ok for local moves but not for a more complicated move.
