Yes-we did get all our items-but with difficulty and much emotional stress. We were not told of the dollar increase until all items were loaded onto to the truck from a high-rise...OUR ORDER Only increased by seven boxes-yet our move was doubled...No one would ever give us an explanation as to why...They were rude-and non-caring about their customer...TO the point-when they left the mattress wrappings in the hallway of the building-we were told they would not remove them as they are not our garbagemen-yet they have the empty truck--Every time we called for arrival dates we were given the runaround-with nothing definitive-I have learned from this horrific experience-Never to use united transport again-i i would only use movers that her recommended to me by friends..
My advice-never sign on a dotted line with a moving company until you have your contract reviewed by your attorney(it will be worth it in the long run)
Also-I will say when i first called this company to make arrangements-they couldn't have been nicer-BUT once I signed on that dotted line..they could care less..
THis is why the moving industry has a bad reputation....
