Unreliable, Terrible Customer Service, They Overcharge you, and Are Shady- DO NOT use United States Movers, Inc

Initially, I had good customer service with the customer rep, and for that reason I hired this company. However, from the moment they came to pick up my items, they broke a box with fragile kitchen plates and cups because they misplaced on top of other boxes before loading onto the truck and they tried to blame it on my packing. I was also not advised about the extra cost of packing materials (i.e mattress covers, tv crating). I was given 50% off the packing materials after having to argue due to breaking my items. The pickup was about 5 hours late. My estimated volume was increased by 300 cubic feet, despite minimal difference in article list. I was overcharged 800 dollars. Attempted to resolve with manager, and he never called me back. I spoke with him 4 days later, and he was unaware of the situation, despite even sending an email. Once I told him I would report this to BBB, he said "I do not care, do what you want" and hung up on me. I was told movers would arrive two days after expected date, I booked a hotel for an extra night, and the movers arrived at 10 pm. My boxes arrived, but the majority broken, destroyed, and plates and cups were broken, along with some medical instruments. (I have pictures). I have attempted to resolve with the other manager, but they give me the run around, and he never answers the phone or they tell me he is not there, or call after 5, in which no one is there to answer the phones. I would never recommend this company to anyone! Horrible customer service, items arrive broken and destroyed, they over charge you, they are completely shady, and are completely unreliable. They made my move to Texas completely stressful. DO NOT use this company.
