I used Trans United for our move from IL to CA and it was awful. James the salesman tried to tell me there would be no extra surprise costs and to contact him at anytime during the move. Well after they picked up my items, I tried to get in touch with James, and I was told he was no longer a part of the process and to work with the trucking company for future concerns. James even hung up on me rudely when I finally got through to him once. Hes a great salesman and I hope him the best as he moves up the ranks to salvaged used car salesman. A big disgrace to the human race. When I finally got my items a month later, my wood furniture all had chips on it, and my tv stand was destroyed completely. Also, they added on an extra $500 at the end. I used containers from another company for our move back and it was flawless. Got our items within a week. I recommend everyone use containers and hope these sleezy moving companies start to go away.
