First, don't believe any review of a moving company that has five stars. You know they are manipulating the ratings themselves. Nobody in that industry is going to warrant five stars. That should raise suspicions.
Second, they say they are an A rated company at the Better Business Bureau, but if you look it up, they are B-.
In my case, they promised their own movers, in their own truck. They showed up in a Ryder truck with someone else' stuff in it, so there was less room for my stuff. In the end, they couldn't carry all my stuff because their truck was too small. The crew supervisor was slick and dishonest at ever step. He didn't want to take one piece of furniture, so he suggested it would cost $500 to move that one piece (a small TV stand). In the end, they took it, but his crew told him - in front of me - that he packed it so poorly that it would surely break. Not only slick, but vindictive.
I had to have my stuff in storage for two months. They asked that I give them a four or five day notice for when I needed my stuff delivered so they could drive it across the country. I gave them a month notice, and they asked me to call five days or so before delivery date. I called a week before, and they said they would have my stuff to me on the delivery date. Three days before, they couldn't find the order. Two days before, they told me that they wouldn't even load the truck until the day after I had asked for delivery and they would be six days late. After a month's notice, a week's notice and several days notice!
They are incompetent, untrustworthy, and not someone I would EVER hire again or recommend. Do not work with Trans-United. And this is from an actual customer, not some kind of plant paid to inflate their ratings.
