The consultant was so friendly and helpful over the phone, I felt I had found a great company at a good price. As soon as the deposit was paid, things changed. Transnational subbed out my move to another company, and the coordinator began contacting me, telling me how my move date was a big inconvenience for him. He had a driver in the area that was having to wait on me to pack my things. He needed ME to hurry up. I changed my move date by several days to try to help out. This driver who was waiting so impatiently finally showed up around 11 am on moving day. He and one helper proceeded to damage my hardwood floors with their dolly and complain that the water I offered them was not cold. They took 9 hours to load a two bedroom home and DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH ROOM FOR MY THINGS. They shut the door to their semi with a uhaul van's worth of my things still not loaded. He planned to strap my new tempurpedic mattress to the back of the semi and leave my table, lamps, various boxes, etc for me to deal with. In the 9 hours they took to load my things they never mentioned that they might not have enough room. Not agreeing to have my mattress strapped to the back of a semi between Texas and Connecticut, I asked it brought back into the house. The driver then raised his voice at me, in my home, telling me how stupid that was for me not to want my mattress strapped to back of the semi. The driver was almost as rude as the coordinator. I did not handle this move alone as I was 5 months pregnant, I thought hiring a company to do it for me would take away some of the stress. A hassle free move this was not. And it cost twice as much as the quote though my inventory list was not far from the quote. Horrible horrible company, the worst experience I have ever had with any company. I hope you're reading this before you pay the deposit and I've saved you some trouble. Horrific experience.
