An hour before scheduled pick-up I got a phone call that the truck was broken down.
I was moving 2 states and had a 3 day drive to make by myself. I was told it would be fixed the next day. Very little honest communication with these people, I really felt and still do that I had been scammed. I had to leave to make the drive and left my ex in charge of putting all items on the truck. This of course did not happen!
A truck, A PENSKE RENTAL truck with people not associated with the Van Lines, finally showed up Thursday in Washington and delivered on Saturday in California.
I was called at 8:00 am and told to be at delivery site at 9:00am and was given the total due which was to be in a cashiers check. Of course, more than the estimate. 1 man to unload my entire house by himself and the driver to supervise.
ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! DON"T USE THEM.
