The English word "super" comes from the Latin "supra"--the literal translation of which is "above." That meaning is embedded in the way we use super in English. When something is superior, it's quality or characteristics are above those of its competitors. Super Man can fly. A supervisor oversees other employees, and etc.
Which brings me to The Super Movers. I recently moved from New York City to a suburb and had The Super Movers recommended to me by several people. I was a bit turned off by the hubristic name, but appreciated their thoughtful honesty on the phone. Many movers gave me "flat rates" over the phone. When I read through the state's movers' regulations, though, I learned that rates you get over the phone are understood to be nonbinding. The Super Movers said they could only give flat rates based on a site visit, and acknowledged that phone estimates are not considered binding. They were the only movers who gave me this frank information, and it stood out to me and made a good impression. They sent someone to do a site visit and gave me a binding estimate.
The movers were equally thoughtful, knowledgeable, pleasant, hardworking, and careful. They exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond what I expected. They packed and loaded my belongings one day and then delivered them and unpacked everything the next day. Nothing was broken or lost. They worked with me to make sure things were put away where I wanted them. They assembled things that were taken apart.
There were no games about money. The rate I got at my estimate is the amount I paid when the move was complete.
In every area, The Super Movers exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend them.
