The initial contact/arrangements/scheduling with TSI was outstanding. Carol was personable, helpful, professional & answered all my questions completely. Both items were picked up in Harrison, Arkansas, exactly when they said they would be. The grandfather clock was shipped to Abilene, TX, and the propeller clock was shipped to me here in Hobbs, NM. The propeller clock arrived without any problem. But when my daughter in Abilene had her clock smith come to calibrate the weights and pendulum on the grandfather clock, the guys who had delivered the clock had installed the pendulum backwards. When the clock smith turned it around, he & my daughter could see scratches across the front of it. He told her it looked like some of the packing tape had stuck to the pendulum, and when it was removed, some of the finish came off as well. I reached Carol with TSI and she contacted the carrier. I heard from Darshna with Plycon Van Lines, who sent a claim form for my daughter to fill out, and asked for a price quote for repair or replacement. The pendulum is going to be replaced, and Plycon will reimburse my daughter for the cost. Working with Carol at TSI was a joy, and it's unfortunate that this occurred. But thankfully it's nothing that can't be replaced. Darshna was more difficult to reach (the phone # she left on my answering machine was actually her supervisor's, so we played phone tag). But I'm just glad my dad's grandfather clock is with my daughter now. Thank you, TSI!
