This review is a bit late but as this was my first move I was naive in looking for the right moving company so I went with price. My move was back in May of 2007.
SuperMovers located in CA arrived late with a truck that did not have enough room for my stuff. So they offered to transport the rest of my things in next few days with a price discount. On the first attempt, they broke the glass on my coffee table, bent furniture, and lost wheels and bolts to my stuff. They reassured me that if I fill out a claims form I can get the stuff replaced. They told me to call the corporate office to get a claims form because they didn't have any with them.
So few days passed and the rest of my stuff arrived. Damaged and stolen this time! I packed and taped my boxes and you can tell they went through them. They stole $8k worth of my personal items. The washer/dryer was dented and the knobs were broken. There were things stuffed inside that didn't even belong to us, so someone else were missing their stuff too.
After many many calls, no claim form and was hung up on and laughed at by their management and staff. Even if a claim form was filled out, they said I would only be reimbursed for a fraction of the weight of the items lost and damaged and not the actual value. Filing the police report did no good because I could not provide proof on who actually stole my items and it was their word against mine.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. DO NOT USE THEM!
