Please Read This - AND PLEASE DO NOT USE STATEWIDE RELOCATION- when you are booking a moving company ask them if they contract out Statewide relocation to actually do the move..because I hadn't even heard of them until the move was occurring.
I used a company called Flat rate movers. They gave me a quote that included a guaranteed pick up time and date and NO HIDDEN CHARGES. I was not told that any of my items such as lamps, matress, tv etc would have to be pre packed or there would be a tremendous surcharge.
Long story short...Statewide relocation showed up about 5 hours after the "guaranteed arrival time" They were rude, they damaged the wall in my apartment complex. When they arrived they charged me an extra 175 dollars to pack items I was never told had to be packed. I have used several moving companies and I was never required to pre wrap my matress, tv, lamps beforehand. They also double charged me for boxes because they didn't have the right inventory list.
In dealing with customer service, they are a complete joke. Barbie tries to pass herself off as the manager. She is totally unprofessional and incompetent. I asked to speak to the owner, at which point I was given an email address to Arik Azulay, I never got a direct response back from him even after trying to call - I don't think he ever got the message..The other manager- Stephanie- although seemingly professional at first, is also totally rude and unprofessional when asked reasonable questions.
On the arrival date, they also arrive 5 hours after the stated arrival time, charged me an extra 150 dollars because their truck couldn't fit in the garage I told them I had, and left one of my items on the truck and had to be YES CONVINCED to go back out and look for it.
Look, just get a reputable company and don't waste your time with these clowns- you'll end up paying for it in the end
