Called Starcity Moving when a friend gave them 2 thumbs up from his move. I have nothing but good things to say about this company! I had my moving day yesterday and not only did they show up on time (early, actually), but they seemed prepared and ready to move my crap and never complained once, even when we found out the freight elevator was out of order in my new building and they had to share the passenger elevator and stairs. They even helped put things together and made sure everything was in the right place before they left. AND they took my old couch out to the dumpster for me!
They were also very patient with my extremely yappy dog who wasn't happy that I crated him while the movers were there. He must have been obnoxious to them but they didn't complain and even played with him when I took him out to calm down. Not saying that patience with pets is a requirement of a moving company, but it was an added bonus! I would most definitely recommend this company to anyone and I would love to use them again!
