I used Spartan Van Lines to move from Discovery Bay, to the Front Range in Colorado. The shipment was large and included a very difficult to move item. While the estimator under-judged both the size and difficulty, Spartan stood behind the agreement and did what they said and more. When they packed my stuff they packaged it and wrapped it like it was their stuff. Never have I seen so many blankets used and so much wrapping plastic to protect furniture and the like. I used their storage for about 2 months for my entire shipment while my house was shown, sold, and I closed on a new house, without any issues. The day I closed on my new house, I called them and they shifted my job back to their long distance department and had it in Colorado by a week + 2 days. I used to be military and I've moved a lot of times, Spartan did the best job I've ever seen. Moving is a lot of work. And there are a LOT of companies out there. I would hire Spartan again in a hot second if my move involved their area. I can't recommend them enough.
