I had a horrible experience with Silver star based in Teterboro, NJ and its representative Casey. The movers arrived 1.5 hours later than the scheduled time (despite I asked for 1 hour earlier than the scheduled time and Casey said it's possible. I at least expected them to be on time). What's worse is that they arrived in the destination, which is 4 hours away from the old apartment, 10 hours later without notifying us. We called Casey/Silver star staff numerous times during these hours without being able to reach anyone. Finally we got hold of the movers 6 hours later and the response is that they are arriving in 1 hour, although they arrived 4.5 hours after that. They arrived at 10:30 pm (could have arrived by 5-6pm with the traffic that day), irritating our new neighbors, and finished the moving at midnight. When asked, they are not honest about the fact they actually needed to dropped off someone else's furniture before us (I found out by asking another staff in the office, not Casey). Also, they broke the door of my old apartment when moving out and shatter one big desk glass. I sent the pictures to Casey and other silver staff. So far I have not heard from Casey or any of you after 10 days. When I called Casey, nobody picks up and his mailbox is full. Plus, Casey's attitude in dealing with my complaints was also very unpleasant. The service was just totally unacceptable and horrible.
