I was at wit's end in trying to determine which mover to go with. It seems as if there are pros/cons with each mover. In looking at some of the reviews, there are those whom were 100% satisfied and then there were those who were on the far end of the spectrum who were completely UN-satisfied.
SeaPort Moving and Storage is the company I ended up using. They're based in Vancouver, Washington. I interviewed 2 other companies from the Portland area. All in all, I liked the fact that the estimators were honest and sincere about their estimates. Even though we were off by a few hours, it was evident, we simply had too much junk to haul around (garage sale comes to mind).
The movers were ON time and worked very hard for us. They had to go back to the old resident to pick up the last of the items which they could not load the first time. They did all of this and did not break or damage anything.
Very courteous people. Again, I say... HONEST.
