I used SMLS a few times, mostly for my job. On two separate occasions i hired them to move a few boxes and some filing cabinets and they were great! So i decided to hire them for my personal move, i booked them for a Saturday and I was given a 12-3 window, the guys arrived at my place in South Brooklyn at around 2pm. I didnt have a lot of stuff(one bedroom apartment) but it was a 4th floor wallk down, they wrapped all my wood furniture, mattress, and sofa-bed. My move was completed in under four hours! Some pros are that they are friendly guys, take good care of furniture, quick responses from Nicole (she does all the emails and phone calls), affordable price. Cons are some of the guys are smokers so they might smell like an ashtray(it might bother some people like my co-worker Elina) Everyone says that moving in NYC is nightmare. I had heard of so many horror stories, but Nicole and Vinny made my move effortless. I emailed Nicole and got an immediate response with an amazing rate. Vinny called me in the morning to let me know that he was on his way and came to move me in a couple hours! Can it really be this easy? Would totally recommend and use them again for my next move. Professional, reliable, and a reasonable price!
